also why are there only 3 ambulances fer the whole of burnley @ pendle,if radio lancs is to be believed? n why do you want to know why they cant afford both? when yer perfectly happy to wait n see, stop playing politics n bother a bit about "Real People"

We all say, Andrew, that things were better 10/20/50 years ago ... whatever. Problem is medical science has moved on so much, that there are more treatments to be had to treat many conditions, so more stress on services.

Ok, 10 years ago, you may have got better service but died, now they have the knowledge to save you, so more pressure and demands to administer these advances, etc.

A lot of the problems are to do with politics, and I won't shy away from saying it.

Have been in the outpatients up at royal blackburn this morning and in the ENT unit, the max fax unit, xray and a couple of other places i saw notices for questionaires for the patient to fill in but you would have to ask the receptionist for one but the notice also makes a point of saying that the patient seals the questionaire and so no one else sees it till its opened.

but are notices in hospitals effective,? can only speak fer meself, when i am admitted i'm usually too pre-occupied with finding out were the hell i'm going n getting there, when i'm discharged i'm just gettin the hell out of the place.
