I cannot believe it!

Yes I know, moan, moan, moan, here he goes again!

However, I bought some Jack Link Beef Jerky, out of curiosity 'cos I'd never had it before.

Not the most tasty thing I've tried, but then, not uninteresting.

got to the bottom of the packet just crumbs, did as we all do tipped the packet to empty it.

That is when life and enjoyment went wrong, one of the remaining items got caught in my wind pipe.

I coughed, then I coughed again, then I stood up and being on my own tried pathetically to pat myself on the back, I had something stuck and I urgently needed to remove it.

Fortunately it did eventually give way and burst forth from my system.

When I recovered, I looked at it, a Gell bag for removing moisture is placed in the Jerky bag to keep things fresh. No warning on the outside that it's there, I think I'll be calling down the store I bought it from tomos' just to let them know what is contained.

Meanwhile do not allow anyone under 60 odd to play with this food it contains small parts!

Just found a stiny note on the back of the pack,

The small white absorber bag in the packaging is not suitable for consumption!
The exclamation mark is theirs not mine, does this mean that if I hadn't dislodged it, my family wouldn't have any come back because I didn't read the small print?

Oh Less.......you are a one!
I know I shouldn't laugh at your misfortune, but I couldn't help myself.
Beef Jerky indeed!

The "little bag: is there to "keep it fresh"
kind of funny when it is dried meat

That I understand, but as simple as I am I would at least have supplied it either stuck to the bag or in some bright colour that even the blind could see before attempting to swallow.

Sounds like we shouldn't let anyone over 60 odd near it, either.

I used to work for a bloke who was eating mint imperials while driving. One got lodged in his throat and he started to choke then passed out. He crashed and the combination of forward momentum, seatbelt and airbag blasted the mint out of his trachea.
