That's a good go, but not right I'm afraid. Anyone any other ideas? It's actually not that exciting, I'll tell you on Monday..... Off to the train station now to pick up my old school friend who was at St.Anne's and Mount Carmel with me. Should be fun, will show her around the area a bit this weekend and have a couple of good nights out. Have a good weekend everyone and let's here those ideas about the Oktoberfest - and no cheating and looking it up on internet either!!!  |

Well jo, it began in 1810 in southern germany, bavaria. prince ludwig1 was preparing for his marriage to princess therese of sachsen-hildurghausen. The following autumn the people of the town began to reminisce about the great time they had, the previous year, the townspeople decided to honour the prince and celebrate his wedding aniversary in much the same way. this became an annual event and thus you have the OKTOBERFEST. am i right jo.
