New bus stop.
From Monday 15th February a temporary bus stop will be put in place opposite the Antley car wash for buses heading out of Accrington to Blackburn.
Up to now the nearest stop for people living near Oakbank drive or the sheltered accommodation by the Church roundabouthas been a few hundred yards away outside the Acorn health centre, opposite Blythes or near Church station. Going into town the bus stop will remain the same in the layby outside the sheltered accommodation. If the bus stop is well used it will be made permanent.
