Nurses at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.

Mainly for you Marg, when you worked at the old B.R.I. did you ever know a Sister name o Cynthia Metcalf, if yes, did you or have you kept in touch; I do know that she moved up to Seahouses when her husband John, who was a senior engineer at Mullards in Simonstone was given a new post when Mullards built a new glass factory in Durham..
By the way, thank you again for the "how to delete you browsing history", See earlier post.
Yours Taddy

Re: Nurses at Blackburn Royal Infirmary.

Taddy my time spent at The Royal Infirmary was quite short and it was mainly as a student Nurse.
I remember some of the Sisters...especially the ones that were strict and could kill you with a thirty second frosty stare...alas I do not recall a Sister Metcalf.
I went back to the Royal as Senior Sister on the Gynae ward in the 90's and hated the place...was glad to move back with all the staff from ward 18 to the new ward at QPH.

So, very sorry Taddy....on this occasion I am going to be as much use as a knitted condom
