Oprah's School for girls and a racist twerp
Ive just been watching the news about the school Oprah Whinfrey has funded in South Africa to educate girls from poor families.
Great work by Oprah. Not so great work by a certain black American celebrity who decided to make it a racist issue and referred to "buildings for black people" saying that when such buildings were constructed they were usually prisons which was a stupid enough remark but then he went one better by thanking Oprah for what she had "done for my people". His people? He's American and these girls are South African! I wonder if the WHITE South African girl in the school's uniform who entered the building with Oprah's arm around her shoulders heard what the twerp said?

It was on the news, along with Saddam Hussen's execution, the death of the little girl attacked by her uncle's dog, the 14 year old yachtslad, the Ashes controversy and several other topical items.
I see no value in criticising the woman by belittling her battle with her weight problems over the years.
