Re: Rover Cars

Its time negotiations started between the government and the robbing ba----ds that put a little into rover a few years ago and are now walking away from the sinking ship with their pockets lined with millions.

The Phoenix 4 are the four guys who formed the consortium to buy Rover for a tenner from BMW. They are sid to have made over £40M between them from teh deal as well as living lavish lifestyles.

Am I reading this right? £6.6m is one weeks wages for 5300 staff? That's well over £1200 quid a week average! A lot of folk would be happy with that much a month!

No tears from me!

BTY if it wasn't for the election the politicians wouldn't care either.
They also seem to have conveniently forgotton
a) who let Phoenix buy it in the first place and
b) how much money we have had to fork out already to keep it afloat.
