Rupert Murdoch

As he prepares to fly into the UK, I can almost hear the song in his head: "I won't let the sun go down on me. "

Well, if I worked for that rag, I would be worried. Looks like Murdoch will have to come up with a new Red Top, maybe the Sunshine?

The closure of The Sun? It would be some justice at last for the Hillsborough families.

Re: Rupert Murdoch

If it were for me all these so-called Newspapers would have failed long ago.

Found a front page in the News of the World in some family journals dating back to 1945and was amazed to discover that the NoTW used to be a serious newspaper back in the annals of time...

Same as is happening to TV, before so-called "reality" shows, there used to be something worth watching...

Re: Rupert Murdoch

A serious and respected newspaper is the Times, which is also owned by Murdoch's News International.
