Scottish B&B

Did anyone read the article in today's papers about the Scottish Bed and Breakfast proprietor ? He refused to let a double room to two homosexual men. He said they could have two singles or a twin but under no circumstances a double, as he was not having unnatural acts taking place under his roof. Needless to say the two friends were less than amused, the PC brigade are having a field day and have reported him to the Scottish Tourist Board in an attempt to have his B&Bs 3 star rating removed. Some of the B&B proprietor's comments were certainly less than PC but who's with him and who's against him ?
I'm on his side.

His house. His rules.... Personally I would be of the opinion that a gay persons money is as good as anyone elses money... But like I say. His house, His rules so I guess he gets to say what is unatural and what isn't.

Norrow minded would sum him up IMHO

Re: Scottish B&B

I read the article in today's Times....the newspaper quoted the B&B proprioter referring to the men concerned as "Poofters".....why is this word acceptable in the Times, but "Pu*fters" (slightly different spelling) not acceptable on the Accyweb?

Are we OK then to use the word "Poofters"? Please advise, so that I can return to the subject of tennis.

Do you have to turn every thread you reply to into an attack on accyweb

Not really, just an attack on political correctness & all those who subscribe to it.

In my opinion the owner of the B&B has a right to refuse anyone - unfortunately he just can't express why! He should've just said there was no room at the inn!
