Selling gold in Accy area
Hi, does anyone know of anywhere in the local area that will give us the best price for some gold we have?
I know there used to be a gold place in the Arndale centre, couldn't remember seeing it last time I went in town. Does anybody know if any of the Jewellers in Accrington buy scrap gold?? Any info gratefully received |

The one in the Arndale closed down ages ago, the same company has the shop on Peel St, Abermarle & Bond.

I sold some old bits of gold recently to a place which buys and sells second hand stuff.
It is opposite Wilkinsons and next to the market. I think it is something like cash converters. I had checked prices on line and they were all about £9.50 a gram, they paid the same, cash over the counter. It came to £592 and he gave me £600.

The price of 9ct is now down to £8 a gram.

It's worth enquiring at different places what price they are offering. Sometimes the jewellers offer more. The price is on the way down at present though.
