Re: Snow Falls in Error!!!

Drove from Clayton to Huncoat and back at 7.30 last night. No sign of any gritters at all.

No, there didn't look like there had been any on my road when I looked out at 9pm last night or indeed this morning either.

Re: Snow Falls in Error!!!

Well you're lucky Ryewolf90. There has been quite a bit around my neck of the woods. I wonder if the LT snow was the 'wet snow' they forecast on the weather forecasts sometimes. I never knew snow to be anything other than wet !!!!!

Re: Snow Falls in Error!!!

I think they meant the heavy snow was unexpected, it was copied from NW Motorway Police Twitter feed.

The amount of grandma and spieling mistakes on the Lancashire Telegraph website I see on a daily basis makes me wonder if anyone proof reads it, let alone spell checks before they shovel it up to the website.

Oh and yes grandma and spieling were deliberate......

welcolm to my world ryewolf. more chance spotting a unicorn than one near keighley. you might have had the wrong sort of snow and they therefore had the wrong sort of grit.
