Re: snow forecast in Accy today and tomorow
I love snow, Nowt better than going out and finding a deserted car park and having some skid pan fun.
Or getting out the big plastic bags and going down the biggest hill you can find.
I fail to see how its an excuse to not go to work though, Come on its not like we get 3-4 foot of the stuff. Perhaps if you don't like your job that much you should look for something else

Re: snow forecast in Accy today and tomorow
i do like my job, however cant get back in the swing of things after holiday break lol
Also due to do a lot of miles over next few weeks for work, which involves M6, which should be avoided at all costs lol
Luckily my bosses are down south so have absolutely no idea what my local weather is like, or how to deal with snow, as they get a dusting and everything grinds to a halt lol

Re: snow forecast in Accy today and tomorow
As I do 120 miles a day commute the motorways are probably the easiest roads to be on. at least your protected from the idiots coming towards you and there aint any sharp bends or reasons to have to stop quickly.
Holiday brreak? whats that then

I hibernate whether it is 5 below or 5 above freezing.
Snow would be nice - change of view from seagulls raindancing to little boys sledging

Re: snow forecast in Accy today and tomorow
Wow, couldnt do that on a daily basis. I cover from Birmingham upwards including Scotland, so have been avoiding that one at the end of last year but know its looming lol. A bit of snow, and flights are postphoned as well, so I can have some much valued time with me son lol.
And seeing as wherever I go, I can only leave after 9.30am and beback for 5pm for him, any excuse not to have the stress of clock watching lol

Re: snow forecast in Accy today and tomorow
Cold snaps usually mean people put the heating back on, if it doesn't work, they ring people like me, people like me can't get to fix boilers in the snow, I love it cos it keeps us busy, hate it because I can't get round properly, particularly as er indoors couldn't handle the 4 x 4 so changed it for a ford!
