Stabbing In Lonsdale Street Area

My grandaughter has just rung me to say somebody has been stabbed in the Lonsdale Street area. Anybody heard anything about it???

I pass the alley early each morning taking the dog out .

It's normal on weekend mornings before 7am to see young people wandering about that area .

When it was the centenary of the Accrington Observer , they printed a copy of the first Observer and gave it for free in the 100th edition .

It was an eye-opener .

It wasn't heaven in those long-ago years , but it was a gigantic improvement on the Accrington we know .

I am so glad we had the opportunity at moving Ian's mum away from Elizabeth Street. This is the second serious incident that has happened in that area since September.

you have Exchange st which is teh long one that goes up to Richmond rd
Elizabeth street
Sharples Street
Eddleston Street
Spring St
Spring hill rd ( which turns into moscow mill street and goes to Union rd

The very long one with few houses on is Stevenson st West, goes across the top of Sharples and the others. Thats where we live. We were wondering what all the cpmmotion was yesterday.
Seems we moved here just as everyone else wants to move away, i hope it's not a coincidence.
