Re: Support Our Soldiers xmas appeal 2008
This sounds like a g reat idea guys; I'm glad to see that support for your troops is strong. We can drop gifts off at CFB/BFC Kingston and the stuff will be flown by military transport from Trenton to Kandahar. And I'm sure we all hope that all our young men and women will soon be safe home and out of harm's way.

Re: Support Our Soldiers xmas appeal 2008
Ber999t I have pm,d you with some info for dropping off or collecting parcels.
Onlyme can collect or failing that Mick has kindly agreed to be a local collection point.
Our xmas appeal is now well and truly underway and I am delighted to say that my dining room is now being overtaken with parcel fillers, xmas hats and other goodies for our brave lads and lasses,
The public support for our troops this year is really overwhelming and it makes me really proud to be a part of it.
If anyone wants anymore info just let me know or pm Onlyme thanks
Mel x

Re: Support Our Soldiers xmas appeal 2008
Just to let anyone know in the Clayton area there is a box in the co-op on Pickup street in Clayton le moors.
If you want to give any thing you can just pop it in the box and i will pass it onto Onlyme.
At the moment we have a bag full of chocolate and 4 tins of beans
Bernie xx

Re: Support Our Soldiers xmas appeal 2008
Massive Thanks to Bernie and all involved at the Co-op for all the help and gifts theyve given, greatly appreciated!
I'm trying to get ahead of the game, so if anyone has anything ready for collection and posting, please let me know and I'll be happy to pick up.
Thanks again for all the help so far x

Re: Support Our Soldiers xmas appeal 2008
Just wanted to say a major 'Thank you' to THWAITES BREWERY for all their help with this years appeal. They have been absolutely fantastic asking their employees to come on board, providing Christmas boxes and using their PR company to highlight the charity and the work we do, so THANK YOU!!! | |
