I'm sure Nostradamus has told us how the world is going to end this year. But then again his predictions go up to about the year 3000.
The Mayans believe the world will end in 2012 so perhaps Boris Johnson is going to get it seriously wrong at the Olympics Opening Ceremony?

Not one single scientist has ever been able to even guess at was before our Big Bang. But surely there must have been something?
So what if the boffins succeed, will that be some other Universe’s Big Bang. Was our Big Bang the result of some other scientist in some other Universe creating his own Big Bang?

BBC iPlayer - The Big Bang Machine about this experiment. I will need to watch it again to understand it |
