Good book on tripe recipes, is, THE HISTORY OF LANCASHIRE COOKERY. BY TOM BRIDGE. 1992. Printwise Publications. Ninety nine ways of cooking and serving dainty dishes of U.C.P. Tripe and cowheel.

Re: Tripe.

God bless Alan Bridge for helping us out here. With a name like Bridge I wonder if he came from Accrington by any chance.

Only ninety nine ways of cooking tripe, eh ? It would be nice if there was a dedication inside the book 'in memory of my dear lady wife for preparing and testing 87 of these recipes'

Made me wonder if tripe could be used in some other way.
Like removing hot cup stains from polished furniture....

Do you know of any other use for tripe ?
