A peregrine called Lucy filming at the Long Mynd in Shropshire. She was supposed to be fed in the air from a hang glider but landed on it and hitched a ride ! Should be on your TV soon.

Enjoying this at the moment .. which my brother sent me:

owlceanside on USTREAM: MATILDA - Hatched 2/16 at 7:30pm Named after the "unofficial" Aussie national anthem "Waltzing Matilda" Play the up-beat version ...

Adverts are a bit of a pain though, but owls are so pretty.

Only seen one up to now though ?

Thanks for that post Kate - did you watch "The Lakes" with Rory McGrath he was at that Bird of Prey centre up there and they had all sorts of birds of prey and owls flying about was fascinating if you like that sort of thing!
