It may not effect us in Accrington but it may effect some of your nearest and dearest:

Our water suppliers rely on chlorine to make water safe but it doesn't kill this parasite.
Chlorine is toxic. I have a Berkey filter tank to remove chlorine, and it removes this parasite too. Berkey Water Filter Systems - World Leader in Portable Water Purification

Im on annual leave from work at the moment, the guys on my ward must be finding it hard work, i hope the trust are supplying everyone with bottled water
