Quality Street tins at £6.89. For the last few years they have cost £5.00 at most supermarkets.

Yeah, Quality Street tins are cheaper now but half the size.
Generally the prices do compare favourably with equivalent products today. |

When you could have a screw for £3.99. Yes. Three, nine, nine. For a whole gift box full of 'em. Thought Graham Garden looked different without his specs. Almost ladylike.
