Anyone got a Caravan for tiny holiday getaway to rent?
My lads class are going P.G.L this coming week and for one, i'm not paying that much for him to be away from me for that long. Two, did i say i dont want him being away from me for that long? And three, i cant affor it. Lol
So, anyway, i'm gonna take him for some days out myself this week and i was wondering if anyone knew of a caravan for rent, from the 21st. Blackppol, Morecambe. Dont mind. Just to escape accy would be nice. |

Morecambe area is great if you like the outdoors and don't want to spend money. We used to spend the whole 6 weeks of the summer in a caravan in a field up Carnforth way, no leccy, no nothing and very little outlay. It was our own little caravan and I used to call it a tent on wheels.
If you want to spend money then by all means go to Blackpool.

we used to go to morcambe every year.. we were right next to the pontins/butlins.. whatever it was.. i used to love it, there was a big beach and you could go exploring, it was ace!

My Dad lives in Lancaster, so we used to visit Morecambe quite often. They had Frontier Land which was ok i. But it was taken down, probably not safe, never looked it. But now, we still go for the peasefulness it offers. The walk along the front is lovely and we always find a nice spot for an ice-cream.
The last time i took the kids to Blackpool, we all witnessed a terrifying brawl outside a pub, blood on the streets everywhere!! Not nice. |
