pub food
wheres the best pub for grub, we went to crown inn whalley road not up to scratch would not go again any one know where good grub and not so good

on sunday they was 6 of us and other people waiting and all was complaining believe me we where and a couple came in at 2.45 and sat for food no one came to them the female went bar at 3.55 and was told backlog, and finished serving she was fuming you must have had another cook

Ahh Sorry. Got the impression you had been in there today.
Mine was a business lunch midweek. Couple of others in , not many. Well when I say business lunch. perhaps gives the wrong impression.. Not a business man me But someone wanted a favour and took me to lunch to discuss it and basically butter me up... it worked so the food cant have been that bad.. |

before summer when I went.. just ammended my other post... and like I say. midweek so a massive difference to a Sunday I suspect. I get the impression there packed at weekends...

Same people that have it now.. Benny and no idea landladies name (Sorry if yer reading).. Very nice people though. Only go in now and then but if I was looking for a regular local type pub i would go for the crown i think..
