doormen are now by law are supposed to have an sia badge which they have to do a course on conflict management and how to deal with situations properly I have a door supervisor badge myself and because im a girl and not a thug i cant get a job in security even though ive been taught how to handle situations and have been granted the badge to get the badge u also have to have no criminal record I told the police in accy about door men in accy not having an sia badge and they said so what! I paid nearly £400 to get mine im really mad i sujest you find out if the thug in question had a badge or not because i doubt it acting like that, for that behaviour he should have his badge taken off him. The security industry is supposed to be changeing but i dont see it myself if women can work as police officers why cant i work as a security guard i dont want to work in a club i only want to be a retail security officer and i cant find a job anywhere.

had a simalar thread myself ....
dunno how to link yet but just type in bouncers in search these guys need re assesing they are nothing but cowardly bullies working in groups ..my son has now been and got his own doormans license and has payed a fortune for it ,and yes they are supposed to abide by rules and regulations or they could be in serious trouble..
