The Bible : The Complete Word of God (abridged)

This hilarious, zany and irreverent comedy is performed by five local actors at the Civic Arts Centre on 9th August at 7.30pm. Tickets are £8/£6.

The play was written and originally performed by The Reduced Shakespeare Company and it would be a sin to miss it.

'We're a bit worried that people might turn up expecting a Bible reading which it couldn't be further from but hopefully if they do they will only find it irreverent rather than offensive'.

Could I have a £7.00 ticket whilst I sit in the isle with my rotting fruit?

It will give me a clearer, view for someone to aim at.

Oh, Hang on, I'm an atheist, why should I find it offensive?

Re: The Bible : The Complete Word of God (abridged)

Just two more days to the performance of The Bible: The Complete Word of God (abridged) - we hope we are hysterical and not simply heretical. Very funny show.

If you like Monty Python this is a similar style. Madcap, zany but not profany.

Friday 9th August, Civic Arts Centre, 7.30pm, tickets only £7.
