Helicoptors/ orange lights over Oswaldtwistle

Did anyone see the strange procession of helicoptors/ orange lights flying over oswaldtwistle from Accrington direction at midnight New Years Eve, there must have been 20 - 30 of them, one must have had soime kind of fireball or firework attatched. It was the wierdest thing I've ever seen.

Thai lanterns.

It's how the Chinky delivers after midnight on new year's eve, to avoid trouble on the roads.

I ordered a green curry an hour ago, and have just been informed it's been seen up Belthorn.

Re: Helicoptors/ orange lights over Oswaldtwistle

I saw what looked like a helicopter with an orange light reflecting of its rotor blades at about 6.30pm last night. It was high and moving very fast. Thought it looked too fast for a helicopter. The orange light looked like a V shape which is why I think it was reflecting of rotor blades.

It was a little odd.

We saw them and thought they were hot air balloons, if it was I didn't they went up after dark unless tethered. The helicopter went over about 20 minutes later.

The thing I saw was too fast to be blowing in the wind. I wondered if it was an RAF jet with the speed it was moving

I saw them and realised they were lanterns.
I have watched so many UFO videos that I can tell the difference

Couldn't have been lanterns Margaret, there was no wind and they were going far to quick

No wind at ground level doesn't mean no wind higher up.
They were moving slowly when I looked, and all in the same direction, and none of them reversed or maneouvered
