Stress and sexuality.

Sharing another article from our newspaper with you – apologies, can’t help myself.

In his book entitled ‘We Are Our Brains’ Dutch neuroscientist Dick Swaab states that women who suffer stress during pregnancy increase the chance of their child being gay.
Now tell me, how many women do not suffer stress at some time during their pregnancy – been there and done that 5 times, both the pregnancy bit and the stress.
He also states that the lifestyle of pregnant mothers affects the sexuality of their unborn child, altering their hormones and the formation of their brains, as does smoking or taking drugs result in a child who grows up to be gay.

Wonder how he reached these conclusions. If it were true I doubt there would be many heterosexuals around.

Re: Stress and sexuality.

Is Dick Swaab a real name? Has the name been made up?

If it is his real name I'll bet he had a hell of a childhood!
Especially if he had a problem with gays.
