I like a man who can admit his faults especially when it comes to driving.
We all have our skills and our weaknesses...and just because you can do something doesn't mean that everyone can do it.
My other half will frequently comment on the driving of others. You know the kind of thing...'Could drive a bus through there'.
I have told him that when I was learning to drive my instructor told me that I f I didn't think I could get through a gap...then not to try. It costs nothing only patience to wait and be sure.
I could park well, but himself could always do it better(according to him anyway).

It was sheer laziness on my part Margaret.
I normally manage to park to within a yard or two of where I was aiming.
Nobody was hurt and no paint damaged so that was a bonus.
I hadn't a clue who the chap was who said "that's the worst parking I've ever seen" and I agreed, then he introduced himself at DtheP.

Friday evening I dine at the Premier Inn near Darwen.
There the four eggs are placed neatly on the plate, along side the chips and peas. The bread arrives already buttered and on a side plate, not slapped on top of the peas as in Todmorden Westherspoons with two packs of butter already melting on to the plate.

Today i met Alan Gilmartin fer a few hours in a watering hole in accy centre, pleased to say, he is a top geezer.

Wynonie also came up. so that made it even better.

bumped into davemac today .. didn't recognise him .. he didn't have a camera round his neck and didn't have bob with him either .. might have been because he was in wilkies in town carrying the shopping .... and we going walkies again next week ... twas nice to meet the better half dave ...
