Would You Like To Be Able To read in 19 different Languages?

And it will only cost you a pound!

Yes I was amazed after making a purchase at one of our local pound shops, in the packaging was the attached piece of paper with a single message in nineteen different languages.

So now I can read that many languages without having to pay college fees.

Admittedly though the only phrase on the piece of paper was:-

PLEASE RETAIN FOR INFORMATION

That was all, not a hint as to what I was to retain for information, (unless it was that piece of paper), however now if ever I see that phrase on my Worldly travels I will recognise it instantly.

The symbols on the right are recycling information, maybe that's why they want you to keep it.

Yes, I noticed them, they could be referring to the piece of paper, after all it should be recyclable.

LDPE 04 is recycleable plastic (low-density polyethylene).

You are oh so knowledgeable, however you do take the 'anything goes' section far too seriously, it sort of kills any effort to bring a little bit of humour to the site.

Sorry Less, thought I was clearing up the mystery of what the paper was for, guess my funny bone`s not yet mended properly yet, there are signs of callus though so it`s looking good for a full recovery.

With a touch of international flavour,

I can sit there in confidence knowing that if a stranger sits down next to me and passes me a piece of paper with the words,
Lutfen Bilgilenin
Written on it, I can expect a conversation in broken English, (my English isn't as good as it aught to be), with a Turkish member of Greenpeace who wishes to tell me about the importance of recycling.

You you have brought back some treasured memories. Many years ago I gave a friend a hand to unpack and assemble several new mopeds. These arrived packed partially disassembled in boxes of three. When you opened each box you were greeted by a large notice in several languages, the english version of which said:-
Before attempting to start FILL OIL WITH ENGINE! Its perhaps worth noting before someone jumps to an obvious explanation these moped were of european but not British manufacture.
