Work while studying

Good afternoon all,

I am currently studying at college on Wednesday and Thursday, but I also need to work. I am having trouble finding a job that can fit round my studies. I'm looking at working Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays pretty much every week. I am a bank HCA but not getting regular hours. I really need something that is immediate start and will offer regular hours on the days above. I'm not to concerned what it is doing but need it to be local and not need to use my car, other than getting to and from work if a bit further afied.

if anyone has any idea where I can look please let me know.

The company I currently work for has an ad out at the moment for support workers, various hours available, not sure if it's the kind of work you're looking for but take at look on the Sense website in the jobs section for the details, hope it helps

Still trying? Well done, 4 years of trying to be a student?

Maybe it's time you were helped.

Ha!

I have had a job since then, but want to further my education and improve chances of better roles that pay better, I'm studying for an access to higher education diploma, then hoping to go to university. But in the mean time I need regular hours on the days I'm not at college, but nothing I can find will accommodate that, I also need immediate start, as care roles that I have done and am bank for at the moment seem to take weeks and weeks before I can start.

To be fair, any delays waiting to start work in care are due to unavoidable checks which any employer worth their salt has to make.
Any care provider who allows people to start work before these checks have been completed are to be avoided, both by potential staff and residents - if you want immediate starts I think you need to look at alternative jobs to be honest
