Help !! Equal op/enviro policy

Hi all hope someone could point me in the right direction.

Re-tendering for some work I am doing but have been informded I need a

Equal opportunities Policy
Enviromental Policy
Health and safety policy (got a basic one)

Any advice people?????????????????

They have been happy for 7years with my work...... Now I'm no good because of red tape and EUROPE

But it is not them that will be out of work soon. Just 2 good lads that work for me

Hi

I work for a recruitment company and we have an Equal Opportunities Policy, I could fax you a copy to see if its any good if not I can see if we have it on e-mail.

Try the Equal opps commision (www.eoc.org.uk), Health and Safety Exec(www.hse.gov.uk) and envirowise(http://www.envirowise.gov.uk/envirow...ey/legislation) for the other.

If there are no 'examples' try emailing and asking for guidance re your responsibilities

whats your line of work, if i may ask. just intrested ! i dont have a equal opportunity policy as theres only me, and my only policy is get the cash!

Thought if there were less than 5 employees, you did not need a written H&S policy
but "entwisi" is correct you should find all the answers in the links on his post, as far as H&S I think there are examples on there for small businesses,including risk assessments, stuff that you could download and modify to match your requirements

Thanks parc381, got most of it sorted now, and you are right about 5 employees, but need to look prepared
