Re: I need a new job...!!

yeah...explored several avenues such as job centre website etc...I actually shot myself in the foot in regards to a job thats on there just now - I forgot to put something down that was relevant to it and only realised after I had emailed my application !, I contacted them to so say this and the agency dealing with them basically said told me 'tough luck ' and knocked me back - thing is I could do said job standing on my head ! - lesson learned !!!
just now exploring the word of mouth route..

Re: I need a new job...!!

just reapply for that other job, if you know what company it is then apply direct. I can't believe an agency wouldn't want you to get a job as they get paid on results, try ringing again, you may get someone who has a clue.

I contacted the agency and was told that they accepted my application as per email, sent it on and it was K'O'd due to me forgetting to add some stuff...so they couldnt accept it again as it would look like I was making it up..end of...I am still waiting for a reply from said agency - who I wont name.

and I wish I could apply direct...but agencys dont give the name of who it is.

They are now called 'AAT' (Applied Automotive Technologies) but personally I wouldn't recommend it. Worked there myself for a while but got out 18 years ago..never looked back since, but maybe things have changed.

18 years ago!!! and you want topass comment on working conditions?? Thats like me saying Rhyddings school is exactly liek it was when I was there.

Father in Law works there and is relatively happy with it. OK its been suffering threat of closure for a while but seems to have pulled through.
