I didn't go to Rhyddings but I am in that age group.
There is only one face I recognise and I don't recall his name - the chap with the 'kiss curl' on the row next to the back.
He was a teddy boy and a west Ender I think.

Ive just asked the wife Margaret his name is Derek Thompson before he retired he was an Ambulance driver:)

My mum was there then, aged 12, but isn't in that class.

I was friendly with Derek Thompson around that time. We all thought he was quite.....cool. :D

He was a nice lad, drove a milk float for the Co-op Dairy for a while in the early 60s. We used to meet at silly o clock in the morning when I was running for the bus. I always gasped Hello at him. :D

Sadly Derek im told has passed away i didnt know him but the wife and also preacherman (Jeffrey Ellis) both said what a nice guy he was:)

I'm nearly sure Derek became a warden of HBC when he finished on the ambulances he was on our Estate, sadly he died a few years go if its the same person, he was a real first class guy and a good friend to the residents

That is correct,I worked with Derek for a while at H.B.C.
