Accrington?
Ignoring the happy chappie in the foreground can any-one recognise where the shops behind him are?

Re: Accrington?
I agree with Janet. I think it is at the bottom of Church St.

Re: Accrington?
I wish I'd had a look there when I was out just now. That green shop does look like "Almost Christmas" but the penultimate letter doesn't look as if it could be an "A"

Re: Accrington?
It's not the bottom of Church Street. Busman and I drove down there to look yesterday. We also drove all over most of Accy and couldn't find it but for some reason we didn't do Warner Street. I think it was on account of him saying he'd been down there recently and not seen anything like that.

Re: Accrington?
I'm glad it's proving elusive, because it's one of H*******lifes bits of scenery, & I for one could not think which part of Accrington it is.

Re: Accrington?
Well Busman and I have been all over the place in Accy and we can't find the location. Maybe it's in Rishton.

Re: Accrington?
I think it was taken a few years ago in Church St. It looks like J & T Cosmetics that used to be there before it moved to the Arndale.
