I used to call into the Melba/Melbo? occasionally around 1960, usually on Sunday afternoons, I think, and put a bob or two into the jukebox. It didn't have the amosphere of the Wayside opposite Joe Mort's, though.

the bus drivers went in when they had time for a cup of tea. good old days |

My friend and I could make one coffee each last about 2 hours while listening to the jukebox that other people were putting money in. Happy, really rather innocent days.
