2 taken from the bridge over canal on approach to dock
3 had a wander around the marina, this is taken from marina side of Glasson
4 do you fancy living here?, just at side of main car park, from memory i think this is where the Babagee (floating cafe) used to be moored, its not there now, was a little disappointed to be honest!
5 the advert in the window of No.4, do we have any takers?
6 is this a ship or a boat, it looked quite "naval", all white and with no "up top" cabins n stuff, nice though!
7 for the birdbrains
8 taken from other side of marina, car park side
9 snapping into the sun, testing the limits without a UV filter!

trip down memory lane, todays visit, remembering mi mam n dad, n good times when they were with us.

out of my normal comfort zone, but the peaks were calling me, could just see the snowy white peaks off in the distance, calling me! will be with them soon as soon as mrs church lets me play out again (im grounded from stopping out on my own whilst there is snow up there, her rules)

enjoy
The Bacon Butties are good from there we were at Glasson Dock on Saturday

He likes to hurtle around in the snow, I dont think bravery was the word to use, and I did head back to the cart sooner than normal.

Re: Today in pictures

quick nip over to Sawley Abbey, had a quick play before work tonight

1. was taken with my phone, i have entered one from my phone in the comp, in the hope it encourages people to take snaps with their phones when out and about, and to show you dont need expensive camera equipment to take pics (even though, my phone cost me more than my camera)

the others are some HDR except the last one thats standard
enjoy

Re: Today in pictures

Spotted a white heron (young one with winter plummage) when coming home so nipped back out to try try and photograph it -it was a bit shy. Spotted some early signs of spring though it's very cold and we are due 30cm snow starting tomorrow afternoon apparently, so the poor violets will be covered up again!

Today in Pictures, with a similar discovery.

1. A walk around Foxhill Bank.
2. The pond.
3. The top pond with the Kingfisher nesting bank.
4. Flowers are starting.
5. Leaves are giving it a go as well.
6. Even a jelly mould is giving it a go.
7. Even managed a droplet.
8. Looking down a road I didn't go down.

Re: Today in pictures

Today in Pictures, a walk in the wet.

1. Its not often there is a map at the start point.
2. Heading down to the river.
3. The river Calder on its way to Whalley.
4. No matter how harsh the winter, snowdrops are always there to show it will be warmer soon. I even managed a droplet or two
5. The view across to Pendle Hill from Bowley Scout Camp.
6. Back-o-Bowley
7. Is it me, or has that sheep got lips? Dean Clough Reservoirs in the distance.
8. Another look across to Pendle Hill.
9. I think its a jelly mould.
10. We don't have thatched roofs in this area, we have moss roofs.
