Only one pic for today. Max is looking very sorry for himself. He has just returned home from the vets. He has had a general anaesthic to enable them to x ray him. He has been holding his back leg up and not putting ant weight on it.The vet is going to refer his xrays to an orthapedic specialist in Brigghouse. He thinks he may have slight damage to his cruciate ligament
Get well soon max.

A big thank you to all Max's wellwishers. It all rests on the orthapedic surgeons how they interpret his xrays next week.Watch this space.

Ooh that can be very painful - in humans anyway so I assume the same is true for canines, hope he makes a speedy and complete recovery.

Did you see that news item this week? Doctors have "discovered" a ligament in the knee in humans that they knew nothing about. I find that quite amazing - after all, it's not like it's in outer space, is it?

I'm glad to see you've still got an Ossy near you - it all looks and sounds so very rural...

That doesn't seem possible, you would think the human body has been mapped beyond such a discovery. What with x rays, ct scans, mri's and all the other equipment that has a lot of initials nothing should be new to doctors.
