yesterday went for a wander round avenham park on my way back to the train station ... knew I shouldn't have ... got held up in Blackburn station for 25mins ....

After reading Margaret's recent blog entry in which she told the story of her mother adopting a new doggie friend, I thought I'd share a photo of my mum with her pup Lexi. Our furry friends give us so much joy, and we do our best to give them the best life we can.

these are mine from yesterday.
Ma asked me to make cards for the family who gave up their much loved pet(never an easy thing to do, whatever the circumstances)....one from Roxy and one from Ma...so this is what I did. I also composed the verse inside the card from Roxy(now look away guys, this might just be a bit too schmaltzy for you to stomach....but I know it will mean a lot to the family). Also a picture of Roxy...now renamed Princess Roxy of Riley Villa(tongue in cheek) Last but not least is Ma and Roxy.......looking very pleased with herself

Not really a photographic outing as emulsion paint was calling me back home, but I had to at least to get a snap or two down the Woodlands now a bit of colour is about.
