An earlier visit to Spring Wood (Wednesday) showed the Bluebells flowering at full blast, if the weather keeps warm they will be passed their best soon so if you had a visit in mind go soon.

Today was just a gentle walk around Mercer Park, I had been down a few times to snap the cherries but until today they showed no colour.

Frank, some lovely shots. Max is almost talking to us in the ones of him....but number ( takes the biscuit for me. Love it.

I walked through the park on Thursday(to vote) and I have to say that the display of blossom was nowhere near as good as your pics...mind you I was rather pre-occupied....wiping bird bob off my dark brown jacket(it didn't work - it had to be washed).

I've been down a couple of time myself thinking they would be out and been disappointed, the bird poo was a bit unfortunate, I didn't think it was allowed today with health and safety legislation.

He has some great facial expressions. If you talk quietly to him his head moves from side to side. He is starting to go grey now.

Ma's new little dog Roxy does something similar.....but she also races round the living room like a hoon from time to time.
She might be a princess, but she is not in the least refined.
