Brambles
i hate the damn things, how do i get rid of them? my bro works for LCC(doing all the school fields n public gardens etc) and i asked him if weed killer will do it and he said no, the only way to do it is get them from the roots...has anyone any different ideas on how to get rid of the darn things? i dont fancy scratching myself to death trying to get at them, i attempted to burn them down last year, but seen as i'm crap with fire it didnt work

yeah i know what ya mean, creasote(i cant spell it either) is actually banned now, has been for a few years, i doubt even acid would rot these damn things away, they drive me mad

goats love brambles.another way to try is cut brambles as low as you can then remove all off cuts dig a bit round the stem area pour strong bleach in that area and were you cut off use a turkey baster with bleach in and pour in to cut areas

flashy the only way to get rid is to dig out the roots and see if you can use something like "weedol" that kills roots then just keep eye for new growth and then pull that up. if caught pouring bleach into soil you could end up in court !!!!!
