Re: Good take away?
If going out for a Indian I go to Agra ( 01282770113)
Indian in, Akash (01254384843) or Mitali (01254381054)
SF chicken Caladonia - better than KFC anyday..cheaper, you get more and they deliver. (01254236616)
Chinese - mayflower - super duper (01254 301122)
Kebabs - Rino's (01254387070) or Toppin's (01254233054)
I don't have take aways alot you understand
Just numbers appear in my mobile phone

It's now owned by his nephew I think but Toni and Gina still work in there sometimes and even when they're not his nephew cooks them Toni's way so you can't really spot the difference.

Re: Good take away?
For takeaway curries it has to be the Akash.
For Chinese, Bao Fu across from the Hare & Hounds in Clayton gets my vote.
For Italian there is no better place in Hyndburn than Toni's, on Blackburn Rd in Gt Harwood.
For kee-babs, my needs are simple, I will eat anywhere. Elephants leg, onions & chilli sauce is the same in all the kee-bab shops.
For good old English fish n chips, it has to be Clayton St chippy in Gt Harwood.

Re: Good take away?
Last night for the first time in ages we had a take-away because we went out the minute Busman came home - to take Mimi to one of her college interviews (the wierdest ever, but that's another subject). On the way back we popped round to deliver something and got chatting like you do so it got quite late - too late to cook so we had a take-away. The girls had KFC, and I'm beginning to wish I'd had the same but we went for a Chinese. Normally we would have gone to Kwong Ming but let's have a change says us and we went to Food City. I was up all night with an upset tum and Busman found a piece of plastic embedded in a prawn cracker, luckily he didn't swallow it. We should have kept it and reported it to somebody but I didn't think of that until this morning.
