What type of debit card? they take visa debit as that's what we use.

Yep thats the one & tesco online didnt accept it neither unless thats changed in a month

Ask at the bank if you can change the visa electron to a visa debit (connect) depends which bank it's from. Ian says electron cards are a pain the backside for the banks

ALready tried that twice now & they wont upgrade the card because i dont pass the banks requirements  - yeh the electron is an absolute pain the rear indeed

You could try the other way and ask Tesco et al why they don't accept them, after all, they will only deliver your goods when they have been paid for. Its not like anyone could bounce a payment by them.

Mmmm someone mentioned that earlier while i was in a stressy hehehehe i looked on asda's they dont have a email addy dunno about tesco or the main number for online

Suppose you'd had to go out at 7pm and had been promised your delivery before 6pm? It's just not acceptable expecting you to be there an hour and a half later to accept frozen stuff. If you hadn't been in what would they have done with it?
