Terry Wogan started it now families all over turn to conkers to stop spiders | Mail Online

The spider conkerer: Wogan started it... now families all over Britain turn to horse chestnuts to stop creepy-crawlies


Saw this an thought of Taggy who I know hates spiders with a vengeance, wonder if any one knew about this, bet MargaretR did

Well thanks Jaysay....after the excitement over seeing this post...i click on the link to be greeted by a ruddy great beastie which nearly gave me a heart attack!!!....Wonder if i'm too late in the year to go conkering up at Accy Cem??....Must admit...since i got that plug in & the spray you mentioned, i've not had much trouble from the ruddy ugly things, only had a couple all year..so am keeping me fingers...& me conkers crossed! Lol!
