I am faced with a lot of decorating due to Hyndburn Homes refurbishment last year, and more to come this year.

I mailed that charity - Hyndburn Homewise - and they supplied me with a list of decorators which had been recommended to them.
I saved the list but, at the moment I am slowly managing to do it myself, so have't tried any of them.

Further to your email, have you tried Age Concern - they have a scheme which offers help to people over 60 and they may have a decorator. Their telephone number is 871010."

Cashy, we had a chap called Mark Rigby do our ceiling....he did an amazing job and it didn't take him long....and he did it on his own.

Now I don't know how much he charges, as our work was covered by the insurance when the ceiling fell in.
I would have no hesitation in recommending him.
