Re: bottom of exchange st

According to new figures released by the Home Office , Spring Hill has the worst record for crime in Hyndburn .

The area has always been part of my life . My grandparents lived here , and I have since 1965 .

Never rich in material goods , it was rich in community spirit and neighbourliness .
It was a place of peace and quiet .

I am sure Accy Webbers who went to Spring Hill School in the 50s , 60s , and 70s will vouch for this .

The present trend disturbs me , and to be honest I know of no simple solution .
