Laugh or cry , depending how the day is going .

The Richmond Road area of the old school now has bungalows .

The old infant school is now a community centre , and as you say there are plans for a play area , and for a car park for the centre .

A photo taken from Richmond Road .

Theres not much left of the "Woods" now. I used to spend hours playing in them.

Are there any photos of the old school around?
There is a line drawing on the school's website but although similar, it doesn't look like the school as I remember it.

Sure remember all these plus Mr Devanport who emigrated to Australia.
Was brought up in Arncliffe Avenue. My little sis Anne was first pupil at the infants when it opened
