Did anyone see the letter In todays Acc Obs "The History of Rock", from Eddie Pearson about the Rock and Roll years in Accy, sure brought back a lot of memories for me and I'm sure for a lot of others on here who grew up in that era

It's a pity the letters page isn't on the Observer website, as usually it's the best bit.

Yeh, shame not on their website, and haven't got a scanner Alan ..sure someone on here has one who gets the Observer. Did start to type it for you, but hit the wrong button (must cut me nails) and went into the re-cycling bin or summat ..

He did mention John Taylor at Knowlmere Street .. know he did run dance classes, but I only remember Cliff.

Cliff was long before John Kate, Alan was the bouncer then,great bloke,always told us to behave goin in, but if we were ever in a ruck he always sided wi us
