Black Peas

Can anyone tell me the correct name for black peas? Every shop I go in and ask they look at me as if I am off another planet, have tried health shops, supermarkets, even pet shops for pigeon peas. We used to get them on the fair, lots of pepper and vinegar. Nobody believes me, help me prove a point and satisfy my craving.

Me too Jaysay, i think the fact they would be a good bit cheaper than spud pie would have been appreciated by Jack!

They were the best, especially if you had a custom made pea shooter - a big brother had mine made at the Pioneer.
