First song I actually remember dancing to was Chubby Checker and The Twist - still pretty good at it.

First songs I actually remember - Shrimpboats are a Comin and Catch a Falling Star.

Graduated from St Mary Mags to the Con Club about 1942 -- Eddie McGarry`s rendition of Glen Miller`s "Moonlight Serenade" prompted me to ask a young lass for a dance. She`s still with me.

Sock It To 'Em JB by Rex Garvin & the Mighty Cravers at Accy Disco 1967. Never heard of it? It's the one they're playing on the current KFC commercial. What goes round comes round...

Like Littlemo I remember New Era Human League (Saw them in Manchester at christmas, still fab) Knowlmere street disco dancing to Abba and the songs from Grease. Sadly, I also have memories of dancing to the twist at Springhill Club childrens Xmas party in the early 70's. HELP!!!!

As you're from Preston you won't remember Accy disco, but do you remember the Stax Club in Preston?
