the pot fair

hope this is the right forum,but was just wondering,whatever happened to the potfair that used to come to accy market and when and why did it cease,my memories are it used to be quite busy,me mam used to love going.think it used to come once a year.

yes i remember the potfair,,,it also came to burnley every july ,,same time as the funfair...

Do you go around with your eyes shut.The pot fair still comes but it's not like it used to be, not as good, not as many bargains but, it still comes. I bought a lovely fruit bowl last year. Watch for the Advert this year

Can remember the potfair that used to come to blackburn at easter. My dad and brother and brother-in-laws would go to the football and mum, me and my sisters would go to the fair and potfair. Always used to come home with a goldfish and a new mug for my mum.

Used to love going to the pot fair when we lived in Preston.
Not many bargains to be had on the Accy pot fair though.
