Had to go to the shop and buy 10 number six tipped for my mum. Used to buy a white mouse with the penny change sometimes and got killed off my mum for not bringing it home. It was only a penny for goodness sake!

Yuck!!!
I recently found a nest of 5 baby grey tits and had to cut up worms and place them in their throats every two hours for 2 weeks to keep them alive and make them grow strong. That was bad enough!! I'll stick to the spaghetti here in Italy, that's as near as I'll ever get to eating worms!

Baby sit my kid Bro and Sister. Nearly killed him once. Coz I let him fall out of his pram and he went rolling down a place called plum pudding hill on the way to bluebell woods.

Wear a liberty bodice and a knitted vest, (welsh wool of course) I was boiling hot and itching all day long, but mum said I wouldnt get a cold like all the other girls.

when i used to visit my grandparents my grandma always made me a cup of tea, no tea bags back then( it was in the good old days ) tea leaves floating on top and made with steralised milk it was DISGUSTING have not drank tea for donkey's years funny how things stick in your mind. :-X

Eat spaghetti.Never liked the stuff.Sorry Jo.Stupid thing is though i do not mind pasta.One of the worst things as a child was having to drag my younger brother around with me all the time during the summer school holidays.Then he would spend all evening teling my parents what we got up to.anybody else suffer like that when they were younger?

Oh, yes but with me it was my kid sister. She never dare grass me up to Mum and Dad though.
I used to hate having her tag along. Big embarrassment. :-[

True Anne, especially when i still had to do it at the age of 14.That is when it really got embarrassing.Was hard to meet up with anybody when you have somebody 4 years younger tagging along with you like a shadow

Mow lawns...wash up dishes...clean room...walk the dogs...clip the holly hedge...sweep driveways. All them mundane sorta things, but me used to get 10bob a week pocket money if me did it all.....no wonder my teeth are bad, all them sweets hahahaha.

Also had to go to the launderette, didn't enjoy it but found by spinning the clothes twice always had some spare 20p's for the sweet shop! Also hated having to go to bed before my older sister.
