Mac OS Security Issue
I saw this on an another forum and thought it worth sharing just in case there are any Mac users on here.
Anyone with access to a Mac running the High Sierra Operating System can gain access by using the user name "Root" and leave the password blank. https://www.theregister.co.uk/2017/1...s_high_sierra/ There is a fix here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208315 |
Re: Mac OS Security Issue
I assume it’s only with the High Sierra O/S that you can access the computer in that method.
It doesn’t work with Yosemite on my Mac. But thanks for posting the information. |
Re: Mac OS Security Issue
